Our Story

Badger Mods started with a simple idea. Time is personal, and the watch you wear should feel like it was made for you. That idea goes all the way back to when my dad gave me my first watch. I still remember how it felt. That little moment made me fall in love with watches and taught me something that has stuck with me ever since. Time is the most valuable thing we have. We never get it back, so what we choose to do with it matters.

Years later, after collecting and trading all kinds of watches, I kept running into the same problem. The pieces I liked were either overpriced, impossible to find, or missing the small details that make a watch feel special. I started to play around with Seiko mods for myself, then for friends, and before long people were asking if I could build something for them. Every build reminded me why I loved this hobby in the first place. It felt less like putting together parts and more like helping someone create a watch that would live with them through their own moments.

Badger Mods grew from that feeling. A small workshop in the woods of Wisconsin, taking time seriously, caring about every detail, and building each watch with the same pride I had when I got my first one. The name comes from where I live and the stubborn, hardworking way I like to approach anything that matters. If it isn't done right, it doesn't leave the bench.
